We are a Year 7/8 class at St Bernadette's School. This is a place where we will be able to share our learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just our first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. We would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Angel's Home Learning
This was not a task for home learning, but Angel has created a wonderful Google drawing to remind us of how to protect ourselves against Covid-19.

Orana Wildlife Park
On the 16th of August, Rooms 5 & 6 went to Orana Wildlife Park. Here we learnt about different adaptations animals have. We also learnt about their habits, food chains and lots more.
My favourite part was seeing Tasmanian Devils. Did you know, most of them have scars on their bottoms? This is because they chase each other in circles when they are fighting. Tasmanian Devils are very territorial!
It was a great day and I was very tired when we got back to school. Everyone enjoyed Zoo School and seeing all of the different animals.

Insect Symmetry!
We have been learning about symmetry. As part of our Biodiversity unit, we looked at insects. We all chose an insect to draw. We started by drawing half of the insect then we used an old X-ray lightbox to trace the other half.
Here is Tini's completed insect! Wow, he has worked so hard on this.
