Exploration

This term our topic has been Exploration. We did a variety of different experiments to learn about the Fair Testing Process.

With a buddy, each person in room 6 conducted their own Fair Test. We celebrated this week by holding a Science Fair.

Check out Sam and Kurtis' Fair Test below. The variable they changed was the amount of vinegar they added to the egg. The vinegar dissolved the egg shell and left the membrane. This made the egg bounce. They then measured how many times the egg bounced for each of the eggs.

The students in Room 6 had a great time and learnt lots about investigating and working like scientists.

    Kia Ora Room 6, I really enjoyed looking at some of the pictures and it was good to see what was happening. I liked how you explained what you had to do and what the kids learnt to do from it next time.
    next time could you add in how many times the egg bounced?
